Because we have provided many paths to link to our e-commerce site at www.sign-holders.co.uk you may transfer to the online shop. Therefore we have included below the clauses which relate to making online purchases, as well as general clauses about doing business with Green Magic Co.
Prices exclude VAT
We mainly sell to businesses and organisations that are able to recover VAT.
Therefore prices shown on this website exclude VAT.
Tax (where applicable) will be added in the shopping basket prior to checkout.
Prices are shown in £ Sterling (GBP)
You can use your credit card to pay even if your normal currency is not GBP (for example, Euro).
The card processing company will calculate the conversion and you will see the transaction on your card statement in your own currency.

Note: We use a reputable carrier to deliver goods. A signature will normally be required, so please give a suitable delivery address where someone will be able to receive the goods. If special delivery instructions are required please state them clearly and provide a contact telephone number. An 'additional information' box is provided during the checkout process.

* Because some of our products are bulky we cannot determine the delivery charge until we review the actual products you are ordering.

Your payment will be processed minus carriage cost.
Before despatching the goods we will contact you once we have calculated the cost.
Upon your agreement we will then process a payment to cover the delivery cost. We can normally do this offline.
During office hours you can naturally call us and our sales team will be pleased to assist.
Please note: Initially your basket will show VAT. As you progress through the checkout you will be invited to enter a valid EU VAT number. On acceptance of this VAT will not be charged on the final transaction.
We use Protx to process our online credit card transactions. They are a major provider of online services to businesses and have impeccable credentials. Please not that we can also process credit cards off-line, for instance if you phone through your order. In this case we use Lloyds Cardnet to process transactions on a 'card not present' basis (unless you call here in person in which case we shall need you to enter your PIN number).
If any refund is due we will normally process this via Protx (for online transactions) or Cardnet for off-line transactions. We will naturally keep you informed about what is happening.
If you have an existing credit account with Green Magic Company or if you are a public sector purchaser without a Procurement Card you can contact Green Magic after registering online. We will then confirm whether we can enable online ordering on account. Once your online account is activated by us you will be able to place orders on account, but until then credit card payment will be the only option presented.
We hold considerable stocks of best selling products and we can often despatch these on the day we receive the order, for next day delivery.
However circumstances are liable to change and our Conditions of Sale set out the detailed position. Please read them as they state the legal position for any order placed with us.
Regarding delivery times the most relevant section reads:
Delivery within UK will generally take place within 3 to 5 working days of the order being placed. Please discuss any particular delivery requirements with us. Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted and within 30 days of your order unless we notify you to the contrary. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any delay in delivery.
If you order by phone we will endeavour to give a realistic (but non-binding) estimate of when you may expect to receive your goods.
If you need goods urgently it is always best to speak to us. We can confirm whether the items are in stock and how quickly our despatch department can respond. Any premium delivery charges such as timed deliveries will be discussed and agreed. Please order in good time if possible and remember that same day despatch is only potentially an option if orders are confirmed and paid for before noon. (We are in a rural area and our carrier pick-up time is earlier than in big cities). However in an emergency we will do our best to help if we possibly can.
You can start 'shopping' without registering but before you can take your basket to 'checkout' you will need to register. Once registered you have access to other useful features of the site - such as viewing saved baskets or tracking the status of any current or completed orders. Provided you tick the relevant box we will keep you informed about the progress of your order by email. Additionally you can Login anytime and see the latest position.
Larger orders may be despatched on pallets via a specialist pallet carrier. We will try to check whether you have fork lift truck off-loading facilities if we have doubts about this. You can also use the 'Comments' box provided at checkout to communicate any special delivery instructions or restrictions.
Booking in policy
Our deliveries are usually small parcels delivered by a van courier service. Timed delivery slots require a lot of extra administration on the part of us and our carrier. They are to be avoided unless really necessary please!
For orders placed online we will keep you informed by email when your goods have been despatched. You can therefore advise the person responsible for receiving the goods to expect them the next day. We use a next day delivery service within the UK mainland.
We do not automatically phone to book in deliveries unless specifically asked in writing to do so.
If goods are refused as a result of a booking in policy which has not been notified to us, we reserve the right to pass on any additional re-delivery costs which may arise.
Please check goods as soon as possible. Before the carrier leaves always check that the number of parcels corresponds with the number stated on the ticket.
If there is any sign of damage to the packaging it is important to indicate this when signing the carrier's delivery sheet.
If the goods have been incorrectly supplied or are damaged please let us know right away and certainly within 5 days of delivery. We can then sort out any problems quickly and efficiently.
